This course is designed to give participants an understanding of the key hazards associated with work in confined spaces, and how to use and operate confined space safety equipment to monitor and control these hazards. Confined spaces include pits, tanks, silos, pipelines etc. Attention is given to how to use entry plans, working in confined spaces, major confined space hazards, entry permits, rescue plans to facilitate safe extractions, and regulatory requirements.
